In 2021, still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a group of NGOs from seven countries led by the Fundación Marcelino Champagnat (Spain) decided to join forces and create Digitalisation & Resilience, the first online platform of free resources for the digital transformation of third sector organisations (NGOs, associations, foundations, etc.). We aimed to address the need of thousands of organisations across the EU to digitalise their teams, processes, and programmes to continue operating during the pandemic.
Recently, with the revolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), a new need emerged in the sector: AI training. In response to this demand, the platform has expanded its content to include training modules on how to harness the opportunities AI offers. This new content aims to empower third sector organisations by providing them with the knowledge necessary to use AI in ways that improve their impact and efficiency.
The platform www.digitalisationandresilience.eu is a joint initiative of:

We try to offer them a family environment in which they feel safe, learn to be autonomous and acquire the skills that allow them to have a future worthy. Upon reaching the age of majority, they are offered the opportunity to continue participating in the project, which is why created a floor of transition to adult life, in which they learn to manage and plan their future, while they are trained or they work. The activities carried out are aimed at ensuring their well-being, guaranteeing coverage of the basic needs and support their educational development.
Our educational and educational work is employment based on helping to catch up. The foundation deals with children, young people and their families from six months to 22 years of age.
Children enrolled in the Foundation's groups live in very poor conditions. The majority of parents are unemployed, many children are born in families, and the education of adults is low. Unemployment is slowly becoming a tradition, even the grandparents didn't have a job. In many cases, children only see the bad example and don't even know how they can help themselves. Because of environmental influences, learning is not important for children either. School dropout and grade repetition are significant.
We are trying to change this situation with our work. We are looking for the area where we can effectively intervene and help them not just wait for help, but do something in their own interest.
